Labeling

TEAM2 aims to boost your innovation projects, in particular by helping you to obtain funding. Labelling by a competitiveness cluster is an asset for funding agencies when applying for aid. Obtaining the label is proof that the project meets the specifications of the call for projects.

The labelling process

A true criterion of excellence, the label enables a company, laboratory or consortium to accelerate the innovation process and maximise its chances of obtaining funding. The label attests to the innovative nature of the project, its positive impact on the territory and the generation of added value, and finally its suitability for the objectives of the call for projects, if applicable. The labelling process is very clearly defined and relies on the scientific committee composed of 12 members.

The stages are as follows:

Obtaining public funding is very competitive, and requires rigorous preparation, a scientific and technical file, a budget and the collection of administrative documents. The project officer, who will be your main contact, will guide you through each step:

  • A short description of the project in a standard format written by the project manager will be submitted to the scientific committee in order to prepare the hearing.
  • The project will be the subject of an in-depth oral exchange with the members of the scientific committee to ensure that it is innovative and that it matches the resources, the work programme and the cluster's roadmap.
  • Two to three experts are appointed to analyse the application. Following this, proposals, advice, recommendations and possibly a reorientation of the project will be made. The dossier is then graded and commented on at a meeting of the scientific committee, which issues an opinion for the board of directors.
  • If the project is judged to be of good quality, meeting the specifications of the call for projects, the chairman of the scientific committee presents the innovation and the impacts on the territory to the TEAM2 Board of Directors, within the limits of confidentiality.
  • The Board of Directors deliberates and votes on the project's accreditation. The decision is then notified to the project/consortium leader by post and email.

TEAM2 support

Each applicant will be specifically supported by a TEAM2 business manager, who will prepare all the stages of the approval process in detail and help to strengthen any weak points in the application: strengthening the consortium, proposing performance indicators, letter of support for the project, etc. All the labelling stages allow the project leader to have tailor-made support to submit a quality application, with rigorous monitoring and to strengthen the project's chances of being funded. The members of the scientific committee are bound by the strictest confidentiality. For reasons of confidentiality, the project leader/consortium may request that the content of the project not be submitted to one or more committee members.
